Materia and crafting seems to just a second thought to Yoshi P you don't need any Materia through out the game or craft anything its just there. Teleportation is very dumb in this game you can teleport everywhere whats the point of airships and boats. Yoshi P had it right near the end of 1.0 with adding NM's, fixing up the battle system and other features then it just seem he went backwards and made a WOW variation of Final Fantasy.
no such thing as leveling too fast IMO, and there are in fact faster games to level in.
