FATES either need to be removed or fixed so that they scale to the people fighting them.
This game has such a great looking world but it is just empty more world content needs to be added.
Contradicting yourself much?

Wait, so there can't be other world content besides FATEs? You serious?
That is an issue with the leveling design. FATEs are boring and monotonous. Yet that's how they want us to level our alts. That's a huge flaw. There are so many classes I want to level, but the idea of me just grinding fates to do it isn't appealing at all. This looks like a sarcastic troll piece.
Assuming this highly unlikely scenario really occurred I'll respond a bit (yeah I know feeding the troll).
Do you really want to go down that path where SE makes massive sweeping changes to the game because there's stupid people out there? How are you going to level your third job to 50 without any fates? Hell how are you going to level your second as you can easily clear quest hubs with your first job?
With the removal of fates a person who joins this game and runs around doing all the quests for their first job (as they would in any other MMO) will be utterly screwed when they decide to level another job.
Yeah, I can do my hunting log(which is pitiful experience post 30, and is only useful for barely a full level), guildhests (which aren't even worth doing more than once, hence why no one queues for them), leves (which are only good experience when done in bulk, say 15 at a time), or dungeons, but the experience you get for the time it takes is pitiful as well unless you've got armory bonus and rested. Plus, DPS have long queues. So that's not very viable either.
The game is nothing but a massive FATE grind. You can either do it with your main job, or you can choose to do it with your alts. Either way, you'll end up doing it unless you want to hit a dead end with leveling. That's why I'm waiting to see what 2.1 brings before I level something else. Then again, I might just wait for the game to go F2P. It's hard to justify playing this game when their net code is so atrocious, and that the GCD delay is "part of the challenge and working as intended". What year is this? 1999?
