Are the food buffs dynamic?, with potion stat bonuses and group bonus or with other buffs.

That's a good question, but even if they are, you don't get nearly enough of a buff from anything to put you anywhere in the same galaxy as the stats you need. And again, we're talking NQ 2-star food having a single point advantage (in one stat at least) over an HQ level 46 dish that costs 1/10th to make and can easily be an HQ every time.

I ranted about this way back in the beta forever and no one paid attention.

The food stats in this game are horrible. Up until phase 2 they were fine, and then they decided to overhaul all of it and make it garbage. No more extended duration on HQs, no more direct attack or magic attack increases, and VIT on everything yet no other primary stat boosts save PIE.

What the crap? What was wrong with the old Meats = STR & Attack?

Has this issue been thought out yet by the devs? Seems there is still players uninformed about this and they keep wasting gil on foods they do not even get near the max stats from.

I make an absolute killing on recipes on my server without selling two-star stuff, which is absurdly expensive to make with the clusters required as opposed to most other food which I can get mats for for practically free off the AH.

dont you get a buff when i a party that raises your VIT,STR,INT..etc etc depending on the class that joins the party.. are you taking this into account?
i havent seen how much the buff is, im sure it wont get you to 750, but it might do the difference between using toast, and using sandwiches!

best bet is HQ toast

also if you had all the top gear you are missing you would hit 519 vit, that plus party stat boost will probably make sandwich a better choice for thoes who have the full i.90 equippment while in a party.

yup next time you party check on top of your party list you will see a horizontal list that has all the stats, the ones that are highlighted are the ones active because of the setup of the party

Even with that amount of VIT you'd still be at only 10 VIT from the Finger Sandwich. If the HQ Sandwich is a little better (Maybe it's 3% instead of 2%) you'd get to perhaps 16 or 17 VIT, which would make it very, VERY slightly "better" than Toast, but far far more expensive.
