    I agree that there should be a lot more side quests. I don't even mind if they are the same ones that I did when leveling the first time. I'm not even close to 50 yet, but I can only imagine how boring the FATE grinding must be. Don't get me wrong, I really like the system and I participate in as many as I can while questing in an area. But to do only that for 50 levels sounds like a chore.

    More side quests or be allowed to redo the side quests we have already done. Add more leve quests.
    Make it viable to level from killing world mobs by increasing the exp per mob and chain time limit so you can chain far more mobs than you can do now.
    Make it viable to add user made quests by adding some kind of quest editor that enables someone to make up quests for other people to do, decide how much exp they get what rewards they get from a selection SE seem applicable for each level. They could choose what NPCs you need to talk to and the dialogue that is said etc.
    You could pick up these quests from the Leve quest chap under a tab called user quests.

    Wholeheartedly agree, OP. Questing made the leveling work for the first job, but my second is BORING. Not slow, by any means -- FATE grinding is efficient, if nothing else. But efficiency without fun sort of defeats the purpose of a game. Most other games don't have this issue due to alts letting you repeat the quests... but since this game is about as alt-unfriendly as they come, and actively encourages sticking to one character... well, it should just do better.

    Lol... I'm actively playing 3 characters right now. A 'mage' character, a 'tank' character and a 'DPS' character. I just don't have the room one one character to keep everything I want to since I also level different crafting and gathering jobs on the characters as well. I have it split up pretty evenly so no one character gets too overloaded Also, it's nice having 6 retainers to help hold stuff

    Hmm, I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one.

    We were warned that the quests available would not be repeatable. We are also aware of the rate at which our leve allowances regenerate. For this reason, I've spread out the sidequests and main story quests between a few different classes. In between questing, I do my hunting log and any random fates that I come across. I've tried to avoid fate spamming for hours at a time so I don't burn out on it. I've saved leves for some of my more difficult to level crafting classes and I haven't even touched the Grand Company hunting log yet.

    I'm trying to be smart about leveling given the fact that we were told how xp was going to be awarded.

    Yeah, each class should have the full set of side quests, after all they still will not fully cover you for levelling, but sure would help a lot.
