Bard is somewhat a main part of the storyline, LL they talk about a horn in gridania the moogles are bards and in Ui'dah that npc we talk about is a Bard with a dagger "but this could be change by SE at anytime"

In the opening movie i remember them saying we should get a bard writ about us or somewhat. So i do say that bard would be adding in this game.

Also bard do use daggers but i can understand how he may not look like a bard because in ffxiv your wep is your class maybe he use a dagger but can switch to bard we don't know
