CASUAL questing you can be max level in a week .

People who lack any sense of time when they talk about levels make me rage

It makes me really annoyed because I level slow and I play casually and people are talking like they're just "derpderping" through levels but if you do some simple calculations you realize it's wrong.

I took time, I skipped all quest text and rushed directly towards each location. At level 38 it took me 12 minutes to take 1/4 of my level. So rushing as fast as I can with quests, that would be 48 minutes for 1 level. So I were to play casually for 3 hours a day for one week there is no way I'd end up level 1-50. And still, this is rushed. Not taking into account chatting, looking up the map, the 5 hours you'd have at least have to spend in story dungeons, reading quests/story.

Claim that you can "casually" achieve your first job to 50 in a week and you manage to upset me unlike anything else on a mmorpg forum.

I may have 3 lvl 50 classes now but I'm still working on leveling the others.

The game is not all about having that 1 lvl 50 class and you're set for the entire game.

There are crafting, gathering, and getting cross-skills.

Also I'm leveling the other classes to lvl 30 for the cross-skills

currently level my Gladiator to lvl 50 since I'm interested in seeing what Job they will give Gladiator as its 2nd job.

Paladin is nice but Tanking has never been my thing.

leveling the other DoW and DoM is a good way to prepare for the future 2nd Jobs Gladiator, Marauder, Conjurer, Lancer, Archer, Pugilist and Thaumaturge will be getting later.

hq crafting does make is easier, but not everyone can just hq craft to level up, unless you are gathering only hq mats and htat takes a while or you are dropping a lot of money on the wards...

um I been playing since Phase 4 on this char. I'm still not even maxed level. So it is possible to not rush. I spend a lot of time RPing, and even leveling a few alts. I'm not interested in end game, so I'm in no hurry to get there. So it's most definitely possible to not rush.

I've got three alts now each with three classes at or above level 15. I've worked on most DoH classes on this character, carpentry and DoL stuff on another. I've spent a lot of time running around screenshotting. A good chunk of my playtime has been spent roleplaying. I play ARR in the evenings, everywhere from 1 hour to 4 or 5 hours at a time, and sometimes not at all. Sometimes I decide to take my game time to Rift instead. And still I have a job at 50 with side classes leveled for cross-class abilities. I did not rush at all.
