How to copy/paste text chat in game?

I have some trouble copy text in chat that I can only copy and paste it only in the game
I can't paste it to the outside of game such as browser etc. But I can copy text from the outside and paste in to the chat game

How can I fix this? any suggestion please help?

If you are on a computer, highlight the text you want with a mouse. Then use control+c, control+v. I do not know how to help you if you use a PS3.

yeah i'm on PC i can copy and paste it in game but can't paste it outside the game.

Highlight the text in the chat window by click-and-drag with your mouse. Press CTL-C to copy. Alt-Tab to go to whatever you're doing out of game, then CTL-V to paste it. If it works in game, should work out of game just the same.

It doesn't work , I dont know why.
when i do >> ctrl + c >> alt + tab >> google translate , etc >> ctrl + v = when i paste it become the last message that i copy in internet browser , other program or something but not message that i copy from ffxiv arr game

Is the text in the chat window that you are trying to translate covered with a "highlight"? If it's only pasting the last thing you copied from your browser, then whatever it is you're trying to copy in-game isn't getting copied. This would suggest you either aren't highlighting it, or you have CTL-C bound to something in-game.
