Question about time required to obtain: Blade's gear, Idealized, Al-iklil, Skyslipper

Hey guys! I'm wondering how much (approximately) of a time commitment would be required to obtain the following items. I'm a casual player who plays just for story, so I'm planning on taking a break after finishing up the EW story (just beat ShB, 8 or so more quests before starting EW MSQ). I already spent a lot more time on this game than I intended (what can I say, it's a pretty awesome game lol) and I got a bit... too... into glamours and cosmetic stuff lol (for instance, I had to force myself to completely stop farming duties for specific glamours because it is just too RNG). I don't particularly want to waste too much more time on cosmetic stuff, but I did want to get some new looks for Endwalker, so I thought I'd check with more experienced players if they thought any of the following items are relatively easy to get:

It's my understanding the Blade's gear items require platinum coins that requires going all the way down to Zadnor in the Resistance Weapons questline. And then you have to I assume grind for the coins themselves? It seems like a pretty large commitment, but I'm wondering how large lol...? If I just grinding Bozja, could I do it in a day? Or are we talking like a full week of non-stop Bozja? (Note: I just unlocked Bozja so I'm basically at the very beginning)

I believe this is obtained from the Varis Extreme trial. Watching a video, the fight looks pretty difficult. I play solo, so I'd have to ask around for help, but even then, to get 5 totems for 1 chest coffer would take 3 clears of the boss right? Can rewards be obtained unsynced? But even with a group of 90s, I'm assuming it will still be quite the challenge for a group of randoms right? I feel like, correct me if I'm wrong, this would potentially be hours of wiping / finding new party members for those who quit after said wiping / no guarantee of even killing the boss once let alone 3 times lol. Is that accurate?

I know this is based on a Bozja-related achievement, and from what I can tell it involves an insane amount of grinding and a bunch of RNG randomness for some of the notes. I'm guessing way too much time for a casual player right?

Since this is from an Eden Savage raid, I'm guessing this has the same issues as the Varis Extreme trial but even harder, right? Again, even if you get a group together, it seems likely other people in the group will also want the mount, and since only one drops, it seems like a bunch of work for no guarantee of being the one to get it... would that be fair to say?


Thanks for any advice you can provide! Just want to get a sense of the time required and likelihood of even finishing as I really wanted to be done with the game before the holidays finished. Happy holidays everyone!

All of them are going to be a bit of a time commitment, but assuming you can get an unsynced party together I'd say the extreme would be the fastest to do.

You mean the Varis Extreme trial right? How likely is that to do with a group or randoms though (I'm on Crystal DC). And, if you had any estimation, how long are we talking for the other stuff? I'm trying to understand what you mean by 'bit of a time commitment' lol, so I can figure out if it's something I'm willing to invest time in. Thanks!

1) Should take a while, but the Bozja story is quite nice. Supposing you don't spend the stuff you get while leveling your Bozja ranking, should take 8 hours max I think.
2) Really easy as long as you get an Unsynced party, and you know more or less the mechanics from a video guide. There should be plenty of parties in PF after people get bored of the EW trials.
3) This one... yeah, it's a BIG grind. Should take at least a week.
4) Same as 2, just watch a quick guide and get an Unsynced party to do E4S.

Thanks this was super helpful! Seems the trials should be easy enough to do. The only thing I'm debating is number 1 lol. 8 hours is kind of a lot of grinding for one single chest piece sigh Do you actually get the mythril or platinum coins while levelling? Would it be right to say you basically nonstop kill mobs in between doing the quests and that's it right? Thanks!
