I'm 95% sure you only get the fancy table to show when crafting gear of a certain caliber (1-star, 2-star).
The fancy table is shown whenever your current synth uses your mainhand tool (or you don't have an offhand equipped) and you have the lv50 class-quest tool equipped.
When you're a lalafell every lvl 50 table or anvils looks underwhelming
I rushed armorer to 50 first, and now I'm going back and leveling everything in tandem (about to hit 25 in everything, but I keep blacksmith about 5 levels higher for easy HQ tools) and I'll say that it is INFINITELY easier with all the cross class abilities and the fact that I'm on the same tier of components for each class. With Steady Hand -> Waste Not -> Hasty Touch(Tricks if good) and Careful Synth for safety I've been hitting like an 80% HQ rate without any HQ components on combines, near 100% with 1 or 2 HQ components. Makes gearing each class up with HQ a breeze and helping get the maximum efficiency from leve charges.Everytime I see one of those tables my mouth kinda waters. Same thing for a full outfit tailored to a single class. Course, I'm gonna be a while to get them since I'm leveling every class by 5 (so I can make sure i craft everything I need).
Still... my mouth waters... ^.^;
I wish I had started out doing it this way, I think I might have already gotten everything to 50 and I know I would have saved a ton on purchased components on the market board. So tip of the hat to you!
I'm in love with my various cross-class abilities too.Especially Careful Synthesis II! Better than a regular one and no failure rate! Then again, I'm regularly screwed over by not getting HQ results out of 90+% Quality bars, so you can probably understand my hatred for anything less than 100%. ><
I just used my "fancy" tables for by 3 level 50's for the first time last night. Weaver obviously doesn't have one - though I like the look of Clotho. The carpentry sawhorses are kind of cool. Minimalist. The leatherworking table DOES look the best, although I wasn't counting on having a now obstructed view of the synth! I got used to swinging the camera around, facing my work. Just need to adjust a bit.
