    As of now because of being able to level all jobs to 50 with the same Character we have a bunch of meaningless expendable players
    Makes doing Events beyond easy because everyone is easily replaced

    This game already breeds the worst players socially ever in a MMO.

    So no I am against this , you should have to work for something . Even if it feels like boring tear jerking grind ...........
    Often as is this game feels almost pointless as there is no real long term goals .

    Edit: The only things I can see that would be good that comes from this is , it would force me to get off my WHM doing AK's and get on my BLM so I can be like the normal joe and wait in a ever lasting que.

    Nothing wrong with the cap.

    What I don't like is the lockout. It should be based on class not character.

    Not only does this add replay value to instances, but makes everyone learn additional classes. Just overall gives you more stuff to do.

    Problem is too many Trash P2W MMOs that cater to bad players who have Momma and Daddies bank account unlimitedly funding them so they can feel special ingame and troll everyone else who does not do the same.....

    As time moves forward , we are asking for shorter goals and harder instances that give max rewards , with no grind what so ever .......
    ^ That game sounds so fun .

    Its a MMO you should have to work for something ........ This game has the easiest drop rates ever.

    o.o It has nothing to do with wanting things now now now now... and everything about realizing that at endgame you're forced to abandon the armory system. You're forced to pick a main or be condemned to drudgery for a year at least without being done ever collecting level 90 gear.

    I would like to be done leveling level 90 gear some time this year. There's nothing wrong with that. There's something odd about condemning players who want their gear sets complete within 4 months.

    Which won't be possible on more than one job unless I level an alt for each job I want to gear.

    Even if I have coil runs, you can only run coil once a week per character, meaning I still don't get very far very fast, even if I get lucky on drops.

    So the only thing I can do is pick one job on each character I create making the Armory System obsolete at endgame. This design decision is baffling considering that the armory system was one of the few things that made FFXIV stand out as any different from any other MMO.

    Makes perfect sense actually. For 1, even if there was no Myth Caps, do you know how many times you have to run AK in order to get a full set on 1 Job? A lot.

    Also, Is Mythology/Philosophy the only content that has a cap preventing you from pressing forward? Yes

    1) You can still get your Relic Weapon on all Jobs
    2) You can still get Darklight on all Jobs
    3) You can still get Primals weapons on all Jobs


    While I do agree the cap should be risen ( a little like from 300 to 500), It is end-game gear and should take a considerable amount of time to obtain the whole set.

    If Crystal Tower has no cap on anything, then that's yet another things you can obtain on all jobs.
    If PvP has no cap, then that's another things you can obtain on all Jobs.

    I am not saying I agree with the cap, I am just saying you can gear up your alts in other ways possible, just not Myth ( right away).

    No one is asking for myth tome capped removed, we're asking why the limitation is not being changed when we can simply bypass this artificial barrier by completely ignoring the armory system on level capped jobs(outside of 26/34 cross-class skills) and making a new character for every single job you want to play, allowing you to also bypass the coil lock out timer, in a game that advertised one of it's main defining features "Play any job you want on a single character!".

    I'd love for anyone arguing against this to tell me with a straight face this is ok, it's ok to limit the only fun/challenging content to one job per turn and less than 2 hours of content per week, while charging us all $13/month. Go ahead, do it.

    I seem to misunderstand. What, in endgame, can you not do in full DL?

    Seeing that you could just as easily stack lv 90 JSE or go for +1 relics x9 in generally the same time, the OPTION of keeping or ignoring the Armory system is just another example of personal playstyle choice.

    Think about it. Crystal Tower is a month away, and will make Darklight the new AK gear- it will also make the minor differences between Mythology gear and the next step down seem like a relatively small leap. Weapons will once again be the most relevant stat boost mythologies can buy.
