Game will not start up

Hi im having a problem where the game will let me try to loggin then it will say theres a problem and it switches off, ive seen this problem on the forum, but as in one of the posts says u should start a new thread because you may not be experienceing the same problem as the last guy XD

Try going into your ffxiv config and adjusting everything to the lowest setting. Then try to start the application. Make sure your video drivers are all updated. Last option to do is open notepad and enter this EXACTLY:

start /affinity F /high ffxivboot.exe

save in your ffxiv folder and make shortcut to desktop
double click and run ^^

Problem could be that you have Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator HD. Check to see if you can run the game from http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ or the official ffxiv benchmark here: http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/media/benchmark/na/

The onboard Intel Graphics chip isn't powerful enough to run (or even launch) FFXIV.

There's really not a whole lot you can do if this is a laptop..

Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator HD; it is impossible to run this game without a dedicated graphics card. Intel's on board crap will not cut it.

If this is a laptop your pretty much out of luck; but if there is a place on the mobo to install a chip, a Nvidia 240M will run the game from my knowledge when I was beta testing; I have a desktop now though. Acer laptops are really not designed for this kind of gaming, especially with the amount of pressure it puts on your CPU.

If this is a desktop, go out an buy a GTX460 or something from ATI that is equivalent and this problem will go away.
