Ps3 Blackout

This is becoming more and more frequent. At random times I will be on the game ( instances or open world) and my screen would go black. I can still move and see names of players and npcs but can not see enviorment at all. My only ways to fix at the moment when it happens is to transition to new area or start and canceal a teleport/return or just wait it out till it somehow fixes itself. Now these options are no problem soloing but become quite bothersome in dungeons. Especially after I already initiated a return inside once and we aren't near final boss to start cut scene. Currently I am playing on an original 60gb ps3 with a wired broadband connection and hdmi output. If anyone has any kind of permanent fix to this it would be greatly appreciated.

I've been suffering through this exact issue since launch. I really hope they address this sooner than later. My concern is that this won't be addressed or fixed before I am able to get a PS4 and that switching systems will be my "fix" for this issue. I've reloaded the game and adjusted the video output but the problem continues to show up. I'm at a loss for what to do and the "officials" don't care...

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your screen turning black. As Eyolf stated, this matter has already been brought to our attention and is currently under investigation by development. I recommend Here or Here for any updates in the future!
