gear/weapon sellers, how to find them for my level?

Hey there,

I was just wondering about something. Last night I decided to go see a vendor to buy a new weapon. I saw a new weapon, but after I bought it, I noticed it was for level 22... doh...

Where are the vendors for levels 1-10? It's not very clear IMO...

Usually the Area level coincides with what the vender sells gear lv-wise. I.E. in Quarrymill it'll most likely be level 25ish gear, Camp Tranquil level 30ish etc etc. Check what level fates you can get at these camps, this will usually tell you what level gear you can purchase from venders in that camp

You can also look for player crafted gear.

In each city you can go for market board and when you look for a weapon by default it will only show you the ones you could use with your current class and level.

The good thing is to get High Quality (HQ) crafted gear that can be sometimes not too expensive

(as side note level 1-10 are in your starting city, as you are gladiator go in steps of Thal section of city, where all merchants are packed together - east))

As an alternate suggestion, at the lower levels you get weapons from your class quests (the every five level quests from your guild) so it's quite pointless to waste your gil on it. I wouldn't start buying gear till you get much higher and you're sitting on things you haven't replaced in 10+ levels.

Always take a look at the marketplace (the large clickable boards). Since you are at low level there is always a chance some people are getting a rid of gears for nearly nothing. Even 1Gil.

I would suggest that you find the NPC that sells the correct level gear, write down how much it will be for whatever you want to buy and then check the market board and compare. On many servers, people are gouging prices of stuff trying to screw people who don't know to check the NPCs.
