Please DO NOT add a boot / kick feature.

Heres why:

How many times have I ran into mean people in dungeons that would kick you for petty reasons? 100% of the time.

How many times have I came across afk'rs or bad mouthed people? 1% of the time.

If you add a kick feature it will be used to remove people who are undergeared and have every right to be in the party so they can progress to end game.

I am fortunate enough to have full top gear, so I did a test once, and I found people accepted me 99% of the time with my full top end gear on while when I used my AK or regular gear, people were mean to me 50% of the time, and would have kicked me for simple mistakes that I made during runs.

So I ask you this: Is it better to be kicked 50% of the time for things you cannot change, or is it better to experence afk people only 1% of the time you run dungeons?

One of the main reasons I love this game is that mean people cannot kick me for my mistakes or lack of gear.

So lets vote people AFK, make it a token based confirmation that you're not AFK... not just "Are you AFK? Y/N?" if they fail to put in the token within 90seconds they get booted...
Win win for all, only downside is you'll still have ppl that are sitting there doing nothing who'll put in the token, that %age is pretty low and it takes some ballz to even do that. It'll at least mitigate the problems.

At any rate, I find most parties respond to positive/negative first impressions.when no one speaks 9/10 there's gonna be some raging if something (even something retardedly small and doesn't affect anything) goes wrong.
If you simply engage in conversation people seem to be less likely to be assclowns.

I completely agree with a vote kick feature as long as its a unanimous vote between all other members of the party. There are instances where a vote kick feature is needed very much. In the case of elitism for example trying to kick someone from your CM or prae run for coming in AF, it is not. Chances are if someone is trying to be petty there is at least one person in the party that isn't mean.

Games with vote kick usually have to have a majority vote to kick the person. If one person wants to kick someone for a non valid reason usually other people won't agree with them and they won't be kicked.

To Invz: What of AK runs where three people of the same FC join a que, and are mean to you the whole way and just before the boss, they boot you for no good reason other then they had someone to pick on?

To Tenkiei, you already have a feature, its called leave duty finder at start of a run if you dont like someones gear. That is not a legitiment reason to kick someone and is a perfect example of why there should NOT be a boot / kick system. If you want to only run with people who are geared to your liking, then find friends, why would you want to kick people who are trying to gear up in duty finder without friends?

False, if someone is clearly under geared for something then why shouldn't we as a group decide that in order to complete said instance that they need to be removed? For example Titan HM if somebody comes in full AF gear with level 38 accessories, why should we as a group have to carry them if we are all full dark light? Why not kick them since they won't be able to contribute nearly as much as we'd like them to?

Even if that does happen, I believe the cases of people being kicked for good reasons rather than people being kicked for 3 friends being jerks or what have you, would far out weigh the people doing it just for the trolols. I mean if there are three friends kicking someone out just for laughs right before end boss, guess this feature is good to have just so the three people can feel real "good" about themselves.
