I hope they do not implement a kick feature. Could you imagine a PS3 player getting his first slow run on Prae or CM getting booted by PC speed runners because it takes an extra 8 seconds for them to load after cut scenes. They really need an AFK timer or some level of minimum participation to get credit for tomes.

Today I has a blm who queued up into praetorium and sat at the entrance the whole time. He was not afk, he just refused to participate. He was there from first boss to the end. We had no way to remove him and we had to 7 man the dungeon as a result. We need SOME kind of power to deal with these jerks.

I also had this happen a couple times in the last two weeks, but booting these people are 1% of dungeon runs. The amount of people who would abuse a system to kick people for watching cutscenes or other unjustified reasons will be over 50% of dungeon runs. I do not want that, and do not think that 1% of dungeon afk'rs justifies people being booted 50% of dungeon runs because of mean people.

I think this goes back to my point, that you are booting someone for other reasons then just being afk, or badmouthing, which is the ONLY time someone should EVER be booted from a party.

I understand your opinion. You are entitled to have this opinion. I just don't agree with it. I don't think a whole party should be punished because one member through lack of gear or talent wipes the party repeatedly. People need to learn that it isn't all about them. This is not a single player game. You are playing the game with other people and if your gear or talent is not up to par why should you expect others to carry you through everything?

I think someone needs to stand up for the undergeared and less talanted. Their only real option is the duty finder. These people are going to be booted / kicked the most... not for badmouthing or afk but a lack of being pro like half the community. I think personaly, teaching them to be pro is better then booting them. I hope Yoshi agrees with me.

I know many raids and titans where I struggled until I was perfect. I was one sloppy blm on that field, but I learned and now can run that titan without a flaw almost every single time now. People shouldnt be disposable. If people with less talent cant use the duty finder to get better, where will they have a chance to experience content? Where should they go?

Lol 1%, the stuck at first cutscene in CM until final boss seems to be occurring in nearly all of my CMs. But I am not going to use my anecdotal statistics and apply it to everyone.

This is a more positive way to fix vastly undergeard players in instances where it will save someone from the pain of a boot / kick and allow others to be able to accomplish thier goals. The rating will probably be set at a minimum level of what is needed to complete the dungeon. I have no doubt there will be others who feel that is too low also.

Its fixes like this that should be embraced, and NOT a boot / kick system.

There are a couple of options. They can join a LS that will help teach them the content or they can try easier content like CM, prae or ifrit HM that can be done with little talent or gear. Running those things repeatedly will get you ifrit weapons which are OK and darklight gear which is pretty good. Mostly it will get you some experience at your job in an environment where mess ups aren't punished so harshly by the game.

You are a douche, theres many people legitimately in at least ONE lvl 50 dungeon who are under geared, because it is a Story Dungeon and that very dungeon is used to gear up in

Well they need to fix a few things first before they add a vote kick. first and foremost a functional blacklist that works cross server AND block entire accounts.

Also, have more end game grind dungeons, and less token grinds. Nothing builds a more impatient speedrunner community than knowing you need to run instances 100 more times before you get your gear. RNG drops are better so long as they spread stuff around with a decent chance and adjust loot to not drop anything for classes that arent participating. I never ran into such a speedrunner problem until these gear tokens came into play.

They also need to either force the cutscenes, or not show who is watching and not let anyone move until the cutscenes are done... at least for DF groups. Otherwise the vote kick will be abused by those who have the gall to forbid players from enjoying the content they pay for.

Also I think itd be a good idea to put those who get kicked at the top of the queue, at least once every 30 minutes or something. Some jerk FCs like to join DF so they can have the majority and pretty much be aholes to every poor sap that joins their group. Would suck to end up in one of those after waiting 45 minutes for a dungeon group, get kicked, and have to wait again.
