Trading damaged items.

So there was a guy at Camp Horizon looking for a wand. I had one but it was slightly damaged. I knew i couldn't sell it in my bazzar like that but i didn't know i couldn't trade it to him.

This is ridiculous, if a player is willing to take an item off someone that is not in 100% condition then they should be able to. We tried to get it repaired but he gave up in the end and left.

I don't see why we shouldn't be able to put damaged items in bazzar either as long as players can clearly see the condition of the item. It is their choice to make if they want to buy it in that condition. It is a real pain having to pay to repair things just to then sell them.

What he is saying makes sense. Bazaar items should come at 100% but if a player is willing to take a damaged item for free, they should be able to. I can't find a reason as to why this is the way it is.

I agree, it never made sense why you can't sell or trade an item not in 100% condition, maybe it makes sense for NPC's not to buy 100% condition, but not players.

...um yeah it CAN BE lol... Fixing this game and keeping it alive for those of us sticking around means we need to be sensitive to a broader ranger then our own ideals. For new players or even people with little time this is a killer. Especially on the lower pop servers. Even I find myself wasting far to much time just to do so. Id take the old degrade scale over being able to trade dmg gear. When it comes down to it; its stupid annoying and just one of many things SE needs to get rid of to keep new players they get. (Its a turn off) I think maybe something to do with RMT? Another thing that needs another major relook...I mean limiting our mining for example...well a Goldseller will simply have more then one miner;; therefore punishing players... (get rid of the surplus system) *slaps self in face; sry off topic rant...

Did you even read what i just said? There was nobody around to repair it and if you have a lot of stuff you want to sell it's annoying and takes ages. There is no reason it should be like this.

did you try asking people for repairs?
what kind of item was it? what material? what rank?

being at a camp is the WORST place to try and get repairs sometimes

if you are in town and cant get repairs you arent trying hard enough or at all

At camps there are usually a lot of crafters, especially Horizon.

I think people should be able to trade items which aren't 100%, I mean, what's the problem with it? It's not like the other person can't get it fixed when they need to use it next can they?
