PS3 loading problems so I switched to PC

So some of my raiding friends were on ps3 and had no problems doing fates. I however was often times unable to see mobs until they died and would miss out on fate experience. I have a 250gb new ps3 slim latest model. I switched to PC to make sure it wasn't my connection and sure enough I was loading all mobs with no lag on pc. I know some say its just the ps3 cannot handle the graphic intensity but then why where others having no issues on ps3?

Plug your PS3 via ethernet cable, wifi on PS3 is really slow. (if already done, well, dunno)

It might also be the model and/or age of your system. Before my previous system got stolen -_- I had to do a complete wipe of the system because I couldn't even install the non-beta version of the game without it freezing. After I got a newer model I had no problems with the actual playing of the game. I've only had one 90k disconnection and relatively little lag. Keep in mind I was wired in. I never play online games with wifi on the console (school internet).
