    You all share a LB so if one person use it, it's gone. However, it can fill/refill during the run as you do various actions in a fight. How fast it fills up depends on how "strategic" you play, whether it means more damage, more dots, doing more heal or stunning bosses.

    Raging strikes, blood for blood and any buff that increases damage works with LBs, since they can't crit internal release is useless. As far as damage type I'd assume melee lb 1 & 2 are slashing and lb 3 is blunt.

    So those that are DPS do you tend to use your LB for bosses?
    Or do you ask as a group who should use the Limit Break
    I am curious more then anything
    As a tank i have had no need so far and never noticed anyone else ever use limit break in dungeons

    Most of the time on bosses, melee DPS will use their LB as it does a fair amount more damage than the equivalent mage LB. Unless there are adds to burn down it should always be the melee DPS LBing where a damage LB is required. Weapon damage also seems to play a role so have the best geared DPS fire the LB. By the way, in most boss encounters you'll want to ensure the LB is fired off as soon as the bars fill. In a longer fight this will allow the opportunity for a second weaker LB near the end. From my experience as well you shouldn't bother burning a 1 bar LB at the start of a fight in most cases. For the melee LBs at least, 2 LB1s is equal more or less to an LB2. May as well build the LB2 and get the bigger bang later in the fight. Plus frontloading damage in some boss fights will cause them to skip phases/mechanics that will throw off your routine (Garuda skipping a jump is a good example).

    Is that why it has 2 dps sub jobs, dps gear, all dps abilities, etc? Is that why the game specifically says they're dps and makes them queue for dungeons are dps? It's because they're not dps right? Having songs doesn't suddenly make them not dps, especially when you consider that they're so rarely needed.

    Current BRD limit break is absolutely terrible. You will always have a healer limit break, and you will always have a tank limit break, but you won't always have a dps limit break:
