I have to agree though that the time and money would be better spent elsewhere, because, as said, everyone is already using 3rd Party stuff. If it's that much of an issue (because you play on PS3, I'm guessing), get an inexpensive laptop or (if they can use the 3rd party software) tablet and use that.
And to be fair, majority of the people playing this game have played WoW at one point or another and are familiar with Vent/Mumble
