is any dps in this game not boring to play as?

i usually love playing dps. i lvl'ed arcanist to 50 thinking i would main summoner and use scholar occasionally when i wanted a faster queue. but i ended up liking scholar far more because unlike summoner where you just do a rotation rinse and repeat scholar gets to react to changing battle situations. maybe if summoner had some abilities to activate when a dot crits or something. are any DD classes more reactionary instead of rotation tedium?

I like monk because it feels the most fast paced (for me, anyway)

people may claim that monks have set "rotations" but outside of the form combos I always find my "rotation" changing and never set in stone due to fight mechanics, etc.

I have heard scholar is very fun though, so why not just stick with that for a change of pace?

Started with Bard, Got him Reliced and DL'ed and then re-rolled to BLM. It's hard to tell what you gonna like more untill you actually brought the class to 50.

BLM sounds more up your alley than a SMN.

I would suggest playing a melee DPS there is a set "rotation" for each one but you have to watch the mob positioning to get out your full DPS. Aside from that maybe try a Tank, I have a geared MNK and a semi geared SMN which I love them both. The MNK is nice for fast pace combat and constantly moving while if I want to sit back I play the SMN.

Come play a Dragoon because it feels like the class unlike SMN which isn't one from the series but some warlock copy of WoW.

i like bard , its not boring at all , i can help my mates recover mana , TP and decrease enemy resistence by 10% and + extra 10% for 25 secs , its really fun

BRD: dot crits reset an off-GCD ability, filler ability can force crit on your high-priority attack.
BLM: Fire can give free Fire III casts, Thunder ticks can give free Thunder (1/2/3) casts.
DRG: positional requirements to get the most out of its dps.
MNK: more positional requirements, and short-lived buffs that can fall off during dodge phases.

That's a bare-bones summary, kinda glossing over a lot. . .
