HELP PLEASE ! ! ! GAME DOESNT START

HI ALL,


I JUST BOUGHT THE GAME AND INSTALL IT WITHOUT FIREWALL AS REQUESTED AND EVERYTHING WAS OK DURING INSTALLATION BUT WHEN I DOUBLE CLICK TO START IT SAYS THE PROGRAM IS NOT WORKING AND IT CLOSES. IVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND MY PC HAS MORE THAN TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS RECOMMENDED.

Actually, you do not have more than recommended, you are just above required specs for CPU and your GPU (video "card") is well below required spec.
The only thing I can think of to maybe make the game run, is updating the drivers for the GPU, but as said, it is well below required spec for FF XIV.

You should be able to run it just fine.

Try going into your ffxiv config and adjusting everything to the lowest setting. Then try to start the application. Make sure your video drivers are all updated. Last option to do is open notepad and enter this EXACTLY:

start /affinity F /high ffxivboot.exe

save as FFXIV.bat in your ffxiv folder and make shortcut to desktop
double click and run ^^

Video driver, or your card isn't powerful enough. Rest of the specs seem ok.
