    Diremite web

Seems like the bots have started to infest North Shroud on Ultros.
There's a couple teleporting assholes farming Banemites 24/7. It's pretty annoying for weavers.

    same problem as me
then i found that quarymill leves for weaver can give diremite web
i forgot about lvl 30 leves but lvl 20 and lvl 25 got 1 leves repeatable 3 times which reward 10 web per repeat
the only problem is it not always give diremite web as reward and the only way to change reward is by complete 1 of it leves and other leves reward auto change

what i do is i get all weaver leves that reward diremite web, then complete 1 of it and recheck the other leves reward (good thing leves you take wont change reward anymore)

but yeah i agree about annoying to hunt it from mob,i hope SE will mass ban them

Yep, same on Siren. I've reported the teleporters, I've reported the "loiterers" who stand in one spot for hours upon hours on end, and instantly detect and kill things, then run back to the EXACT same spot EVERY single time without fail...

It's pointless. FFXIV lost the war against the botters weeks ago and they've utterly ruined the economy.

Great tip! I'd been using my leves exclusively on DoL classes, but this sure beats farming highly contested Diremite spawns. The occasional 40 (x3) lightening shards wasn't too bad either. In any case, picked up three levels and five stacks of web doing the leves this morning.

Same on this server , and there on the sheep also, Kind of stupid only have one mob get those from, But pro-tip skip them let it rot. Cotton stash leve can get the dirmite stuff and if get the hq nice exp might need to take week off from crafting to build the allowance up. Then just leve quest the job to 50 save the headache of trying to beat them. flax flowers nice since a lot people can get them easy so can linen cowel hq all way to 50. Just sucks trying to get the handful for the book checked off though. If got a friend with really high end CPU and Brd they can steal the bots kill if the bot running a delay and got cross fingers. To help you out also.

Botters present and correct on Sargatanas too!

Though it's very easy to outclaim them (possibly by design on their part to stop ppl saying it's directly unfair), so I can't get annoyed that they're hoarding all the spawns.

What they are doing is making a tonne of gil, what with Diremite Webs costing 1,400ea on MW atm and selling rapidly.

I was trying to farm derimite web and noticed one person staying right next to the spawn point of the Banemites and the process was exactly the same and they stood in the same spot every time, I was wondering what was going on. I needed some so I started killing and drawing aggro from said person. Maybe I will go back to see if that same person is there. thanks for the tip

Teleporters are one thing, but honestly...I've spent hours collecting diremite webs and sinew for my leatherworking and weaver. It doesn't take long before you memorize their spawn location and approximate spawn timing, then just spam "tab" and and instant attack. Not everyone harvesting for hours is a bot. Some one tried calling me out one night in the shout channel where I promptly called him an asshat between kills. There's worse competition for fleece at t his point.

Real people do not move back to the EXACT same spot after engaging a mob with perfect precision 100s of times. They don't run smack into terrain and then jump jump jump to mash their way around it, the way I *know* that scripts act to get around obstacles (because I've seen the programs). They also get logged out if they go afk, and don't just stand there for *literally* hours idle, because something went wrong with their script but its still "mashing buttons" and thus keeping them logged in.

It's VERY VERY easy to tell when someone is using a script to run a route or auto-engage mobs. You may have gotten called out by someone sloppy, but these bots are definitively bots.
