Launcher crashes when attempting to log in

I'm having an issue trying to log in. When I put my credentials in (including security token) the launcher immediately crashes. If I use an incorrect password or leave out my security token code, I'll still get the invalid password message. I'm not sure what to do short of reinstalling the entire game.

I think I discovered the problem and fixed it.

I received an email this morning from SE telling me to reset my password (specifically, "Based upon recent suspicious activity, we have identified that your account may potentially be at risk. For your protection, we have temporarily suspended login access to this account.") I thought it was a phishing scam so I ignored it. When I went to mog station to find a client to download I got an error message related to that e-mail. Followed the instructions, reset my password, and I could log into the launcher again.

My bet is there's some error message I'm supposed to get from the launcher that didn't work, thus crashing the launcher.

I had this exact same problem this morning. Very annoying that they haven't put in a error message telling you that there is a problem. No it just CRASHES with no info on why. As for the reason I got the password reset. Cause there horrible detection system took me CTD several times as "suspicious" activity...
