Where are you located? It might be your region doesn't have Crysta available... perhaps someone can verify.Hmmmm...
I tried to add crysta with Pay-Pal twice now, and both times there was an error, and i couldn't pay. So now what do I do? The cards don't seem to be working, AND my dad doesn't want to go the card route. So I need to use Pay-Pal, but now I can't pay with that either! GAAAHHHH! :/

Just trying to verify, as the Canadian servers cover an entire hemisphere of people, many of which do not have Crysta as an option. Some people have gone weeks trying to figure out their problem, only to find Crysta is not an option for them in Guam or somewhere in the Oceania region.
Have you confirmed there is nothing funky with your Pay-Pal end? Account credentials, the default payment option set there (if a CC/Debit card, expiration date may need to be updated, something odd like that), verified there's no rejection happening for the transfer on the bank's end? (a lot have recently made changes to wire transfers and such for security reasons). There are a LOT of points of failure in this process. It may take a little digging to find where the fault lies.
As mentioned earlier, since you are in a region known to accept Crysta and UGC codes, you also have that as an option. Can get them at all kinds of local stores--Gamestop, Walmart, CVS, think I've even seen them in some grocery stores where they have the iTunes and Google Play cards even. Yeha, kinda sucks that you have to buy them in flat increments (usually $20 or $25 in stores), but online you can get the codes in a wider variety (as low as $10 I think).

Oh, one more thing... if you've never used Crysta before, make sure you have a Crysta Passbook on your account. When the SE AM system first went into play, you had to click the Crysta Passbook link and go through the process of setting up the Passbook and linking it to your Service Account. There might be some legacy coding there that hasn't been updated yet. Log into your SE AM page (not the Mog Station), and go into your Crysta Passbook from there to make sure one even exists if you haven't used Crysta in the past. You can try adding Crysta directly from there as well once you've verified it--some of the screens may look a bit different in the process, but it follows the same flow as mentioned previously.
Glad to be of help lol , i was also very very worried on how to pay after they removed ClicknBuy , since i pay FF14 with it like from 2010.
You can imagine how happy i was when i discovered the IDeal and paypal option.. i am far from happy with crysta tho.. but at least it's a payment method i can easely use.
Also crysta passbook? , i noticed i have it on my account.. but i never ever clicked it or used it or used crysta in the past.. no clue then why i have one on my account, guess SE decided just to add one just incase XD
This is really an asinine way of doing things. I was on the fence of weather or not to re subscribe. And Square kind of answered for me when I did try to renew. Great.
Thank you for this thread, thankfully PayPal can actually figure out how to charge a credit card correctly.

Weird I already tried to pay with that option and my credit card keeps getting rejected along with paypal and I already checked with my bank and I have enough credit to pay, don't know what to do anymore, guess Square doesn't want my money.

Same boat as RedAntares. Even tried to use a UGC from a local EB Games, which was denied as well. Getting very tired of this issue, and have been fighting with it for the last week and a half. Now the free trial is over, and I am unable to continue to play due to problems on SE's end.
Same boat as Lucavern, RedAntares and Anubis_Nephthys, CC AND PayPal not working for me eitherI'm in Florida. Hopefully they fix this soon!
