Really, I've had enough of those noobs.
People saying that I need full DL or lv70 gear to beat primals HM are just noobs that don't know how to play and flame about 3 or 4 stats points.
People said to me that I needed full DL to beat Titan when I had beaten Garuda HM while having a single DL piece, a CNJ wand lv49, the Healer's Robe lv50 and all the rest below lv45, earrings and choker lv28.
With this gear I KO'd Garuda HM without Mage's Ballad, without going under 90% MP while raising 5 times THE OTHER WHM.
It happened because the party was good.
I admit that Titan is more difficult, but it still doesn't need full DL gear.
But still I haven't got my chunk of hyperfused ore because nobody is capable of beating him, the other whm/sch dies dds don't deal enough damage, the tank doesn't aggro well...
I wish I could find someone good in that crazy Navel.

What is the point of this post?

DL gear certainly helps, so those that are asking for it generally are (like you) sick and tired of having bad groups and want a group of at least geared people rather than risking ungeared AND unskilled players.

OP you never seen the final phase I assume if so you will know why they want full DL after my first time getting him down past 30% I went and got full DL on my own before retrying. And titanHM is a whole different world than the other hard modes I assure you.

Also I like that he points out the flaws in others while he himself probably makes most the same mistakes. And roll a tank before talking about aggro.

The extra HP granted from DL gear helps, but I don't think it's required to have every piece available.

What's the point of this post? Well, I hope someone reads and understands that Final Fantasy means "I get a strong weapon after beating the boss", not "I beat that boring boss to get my shiny new weapon".
And, I saw lots of walkthroughs and videos, and I got in the last phase of Titan HM even if everyone was leaving so I didn't have the time to play it, but I actually know how it is.
People just wants to get the prize, they don't give a ---- about the boss, they want to clear everything as soon as possible to get out of that.
What's the point in that? Why would someone buy a Final Fantasy game just to get the prizes and shut down the PC?
Try to get a party with 1 tank, 3 healers and 4 dds and a BRD, use 2 healers every phase giving one of them the chance to recover MPs and use all the three in the last phase with Mage's ballad and Titan will be the easiest battle in your life.

Hah, I'm not like them. I don't leave if I die, I don't make stupid mistakes.
I'm not perfect (sometimes I can even fall in an aoe!) but I can assure you, I'm a good white mage.
And, talking of aggro, it's not this much to get some aggro from a boss: you have plenty of skills to get your enmity up, I can half mine, the rest is up to you: you have one only thing to do, do it well.
Just the same as me, I have lots of healing skills so I heal well. You have aggro skills, aggro well.

Can u tank 9 timults in a row sub 3200 hp? No you can't. Keep in mind that as time passes in the last phase the timults hit harder. So I say... Can you tank 9 timults?

For Titan it is about survivability and skill. You have to have a certain amount of HP to survive tumults in the final phase. You also have to possess the skill and knowledge of the fight to dodge all avoidable attacks. If you fail in either stats or skills you will lose. If you come in to the fight under geared your survivability drops, as does your odds of winning.

Is it possible to beat HM Titan while under geared? Yes, to an extent. Will you be burdening the rest of your team by entering under geared? Yes. Do people want to attempt a perceived difficult fight when they have put in the time to get fully geared for it while others slide through without putting in the time? No.

I'm a LL gamer, that means I can easily handle a low geared situation.
It's not a coincidence if I lost Garuda HM on DF for three days and then got in a party with the same gear and won 6 times in a row without losing once.
I'd do so even with Titan, if people didn't ask full DL gear.
Because I don't want to run Praetorium and AK 100 times to get Allagan Tomestones, I want to have a good fight, to win, and to get to another stronger enemy.
Full DL is required (maybe!) only for the Binding Coil of Bahamut.

3.2k HP is enough to run Titan. Just need to dodge everything.
Also 9 tumults...how slow is your DPS?
