Keyboard turning is using the turn hotkeys on your keyboard instead of aiming with your mouse.
I see tons of people doing it in this game.
Do people still do this in 2013?

I stopped doing this when I started playing TERA during it's Beta period. But I did this for years in WoW, and couldn't break the habit until TERA. Now, I cannot imagine keyboard turning and mouse-clicking.
Situationally. I almost always have my hand on the mouse and my finger pressed down on the right click, though.
I still have ASWD bound to move when I'm feeling lazy (aka most of the time save speed runs and raids)
Combat isn't fast enough and hardly any "instant" skills that makes it worth unbinding movement keys.
I use the keyboard to strafe and move forwards and backwards, it's a lot easier for me to position the mob/s and kite using the keyboard over the mouse.
I did this for about 30 secs when I first discovered WoW ... than i discovered "right-click"
''The world is very different for those who cannot see beyond what is placed before their very eyes.''
I use legacy controls, so no turning from me.
I do it all the time...when I mean to side-step out of an AoE.
If you're asking do I use the arrow keys to turn, then yes I do. I actually use the keyboard to control everything, I rarely touch my mouse except to navigate the menu sometimes.
WSAD to move, Up Down Left Right to turn, PageUp PageDown to zoom camera, Numpad0,8,4,6,2 to target and select menu options or npc's, Tab to target, etc
But I do use legacy controls.
