lost and cant find main story quest

i have done power of deduction at the time i was not at the level i needed to keep on it now that i am higher level , i can back to it but now its not showing the symbol for the quest, so i went to the next place were the next quest would of led me and still nada.

Normally your next main story quest is offered within sight of where you turned in your last one; in fact, most of the time it's given out by the person you turned in the last quest to. Are you *sure* the last one you did was "Power of Deduction?" That's a level 28 quest, and so are the next two in sequence. Did you go to Haukke Manor (I expect that would be hard to forget)? If you've done Haukke Manor (which is level 28), your next quest should be Wrath of the Titan (which would be level 30--there's your level jump), and you need to go talk to Minfilia at the Waking Sands. Medrod hands out Power of Deduction; if you've done it, you don't need to be talking to him any more. If your last storyline quest was truly Power of Deduction, then you need to talk to Aethelmaer at Fallground Float (19-25) to get Secret of the White Lily. Your quest log will show you all your completed quests. Check it to confirm what the last storyline quest you actually did was.

I'm not sure why you thought you couldn't get the next quest at the time then, since both Power of Deduction and Secret of the White Lily are level 28. In any case, if the last quest you did *was* Power of Deduction, then you need to go talk to Aethelmaer, not Medrod.

Your game is probably bugged. My main quest line disappeared right after "Power of Deduction." It has been gone for a couple weeks :-( It has pretty much grinded my character to a halt because I can't open certain dungeons without it. Bummer, man

I'm in the same boat, completed the Power of Deduction and the next npc will not give the follow on quest.
Sadly in GMs say the only way to fix it is to post here and report the bug.
I have noticed this bug has been posted over a month ago, does that mean we need to re-role our toons as there is no bug fix coming, how many months do i need to wait for this to get fixed as it completely stops the game from progressing.
If we wait will be get months we waited credited to us?

After a bit more googling, i found a work around.
Simply head to Minfilia at walking sands, she will give you the level 30 quest.
Yay, no idea what they mods and gms cant tell people this!
