PLD->GLA loses a ton of defensive abilities.
WAR->MRD loses lots of self heals
SCH->ACN loses literally all purpose
SMN->ACN makes your pets weaker
WHM->CNJ loses lots of healing spells and Holy
I could go on. Let's not even talk about the fact that the job crystal gives you +10 all stats and +20 to your main, so you'd be losing all those, too.
