    How did you know you account blocked ? Where can I check mine blocked or not ? This error is really annoying. I have been stuck with it for 5 days.

    I'm going on what SE's customer service reps have told others. If you try it and get a 401, your card's blocked for 7 hours, then a week then a month for the third attempt.

    Still, glad to know my Australian credit card's just not good enough for them.

    After failed attempt number three, every extra attempt just resets the 30 days to begin from the time you just tried. No extra time after that.

    Thanks for the advice from others, I'll take it into consideration.

    Grab a game card from game.co.uk. They will email the code to you and they are happy to accept our credit cards. Sucks that SE still gets rewarded for this stuff around though.
