ERROR 401 "Please confirm the status of any relevant options and then try again."

So I've been trying to create a subscription for FFXIV, only to be hit with error 401 which tells me nothing about why my VISA was just declined, even though I was charged (0.17 USD) three times on my bank account. I've gone through the various solutions on the forums and elsewhere, and the only suggestion was from a GM who said that the person who had a simmilar problem should "contact their bank."

I know for a FACT that my card is good, and I just used it on Steam, just to test. And Square Enix is refusing to accept my payment. Should I just quit the game right now? Because I seriously cannot be bothered with such atrocious system.
