ah so there is one. The only difference is the FF3/6 unicorn looks like its about to rip out your heart and show it to you. The 14 unicorn looks like it wants to be your friend so you can feed it apples and read it bedtime stories.

Does anyone else think this mount is not only ridiculous looking but also does not fit into this game whatsoever?? What Final Fantasy EVER has a unicorn that looks like it got ripped straight out of a Barbie movie and plastered into the game. Every time i see this mount it makes me want to take out my axe and butcher it into something i can sell on the market boards

When i compare the Unicorn mount to that really ridiculous walking mech mount... the mech is FAR more ridiculous than the Unicorn. Yes, i HAVE that mech mount. No i have not used it even once. Why? Because it looks utterly ridiculous.

The magitek armor is a huge part of Final Fantasy though. I can recall timing my magitek missile or ice beam incorrectly on the snail boss in FF6 and then suffering a huge counter attack.

That's the same argument with the unicorn mount, it is part of the ff franchise though terribly out of place with the ff14 setting, I guess if we were part of the empire and there were empire tech all over the place it wouldnt look so copy pasta as it looks right now.

I am sorry but to me it does not matter if it has any part of the lore - it still looks horrid.
