Recently had a party where upon entering one of the tanks went afk and did not return until the end of the last boss. i only know he returned because he actually left the zone before me. The party didn't want to disband an suffer a 15 min penalty so did the run with only 1 tank, slowing us down and taking a free 100.

we need a system where as we can remove members like this during DF runs, maybe a voting system.

also i tried to do another CM afterwards and he was in my party immediately following and he was in my party again. I spazzed out on him and he called lair.

i have since had him show up in my CM runs 5 times tonight. Some kind of cross server duty finder black list would be nice.

i don't want to deal with him anymore, but i can't simply avoid him without punishing 6 other ppl.

Yeah have experienced the same thing acouple times. Apparently someone recognized 1 of the players and said he afks each CM he goes in and right when it ended he disbanded right away.

I've talked to my Linkshell and they have all had similar experiences.

A straight up kick system isn't coming, but an activity checker when initiated is and if the person does not reply while beign both active within periods of time, and near the group, they get banned.

Don't think that would have caught him though, he got up and left before me so he was at the very least watching his screen. Just not doing anything.

I will report it in the future however.

People have been banned? I tried reporting it and got a response that they could do nothing about it though.

No one has been banned for afk leeching. However, some kind of kick function is coming with 2.1.

We need a kick feature for this. GM can't do anything. As long as he's in front of the screen and responding to GMs he's not unattended play, he's just being a dbag and that doesn't violate any rules. He's probably just chatting with friends, or just eating his lunch while you guys do the dungeon for him.
