So I went in to renew my subscription in mog station and i selected the 30 days option but they only charged me $1.45 for the service fee but no subscription.
Right now my account is still not active. Is this a bugged?

That's more than me and many others. We get nothing. Have a look at the error 401 thread.
Go read up here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...de-401-and-601, some people have found workarounds that might work for you if you have the ability to obtain crysta.
If you have the error issues I had, just pick the crysta option. My CC didnt get rejected buying those.
Be sure to go through the Mog Station, pick crysta option instead of CC option, then on the next page you'll see how many crysta will be needed for the sub. Click the button to charge crysta and go through the steps on the crysta page. After that is done you will get redirected back to mog station.
It's the same cost as subbing through CC, 1099 crysta was 10.99 Euro, just like the Entry sub is.
Hope it helps.
Once more into the fray. Into the last good fight I'll ever know. Live and die on this day. Live and die on this day.
They already charged the $1.45 onto my credit card. I don't want to waste free money. I setup the credit card twice and now its charging me $1.45 twice.....
The Mods will come and shut this forum down in a bit, saying its the banks fault. Its not the banks fault, its SE. I have tried everything they have asked for. Tried all the work around's and nothing works. I have spent 150$ right now, 100 on a Ultimate game time card, rejected, 50$ to buy crysta rejected. Nothing works. So this mod is gonna say hey its not us its your bank. Its not your bank. The amount of customer service this company has is appalling. Right now there is no real way to pay, it works or it doesnt work. You can try the crysta work around but it didnt work for me and im going to dispute it with PayPal in a couple days. DO NOT buy the game card as these are NOT refundable and will not work 100% of the time. Square Enix NEEDS to respond to this. Find a solution.
The $1.45 (some place $1.00 for me it was $1.13) is to check to make sure the Credit card is Valid and accessible for billing and to setup SE on the CC with all the correct transaction numbers they need for recurring billing. It can take 2-3 days sometimes (i have seen as much as a week) for the CC company to bounce back confirmation the test charge went through successfully. The test charge has to be posted to your CC account before they will send the report. I make a purchase on my CC , the amount is taken off immediately off my credit amount but it is not posted for up to 2 days.
After the amount is posted then they should be able to charge you your one month fee and not having any issues in the subsequent months.
I have the exact same problem. I tried renewing the subscription yesterday without success. I entered my credit card information in the Mog Station and then then it said that you can now go change your payment method. So i go here https://secure.square-enix.com and check it out, but it asks my credit card information again. So i enter my card info again and it again says you can now change your payment method. I have no idea where so i go and put the info once again to Mog Station and then i get an error like this:
ERROR (-24202)

I check my bank account and each time they charged me 1 €. Well it's not charged yet, it says "reserved".
If the charge hasn't gone through yet and its "reserved" then it may only be the steps to complete the transaction haven't been completed. Call your bank and ask about the reserve and if its they who have to clear the reserve or the billing company that has to clear the reserve. Reserved means a company has put a charge on your account but the charge hasn;'t completed yet. We do that as well...you want to rent a piece of equipment from us we "reserve" $500 on your CC if you dont have an account and that way we can ensure we will get at least that amount if you try and skip out on the bill. Thats not the reason SE is putting the test charge on but gives you an idea what it is. The test charge once complete will give SE the transaction information to setup for future purchases. Some CC companies can complete these transactions very fast others won't. as i said in another thrad it might also be that depending on where the billing is coming from the purchase might be seen as "suspicious" and the banks system locks the payment down until some handshake is done to verify the vendor looking for the money is legit.I have the exact same problem.
