I am really dissapointed in player attitute towards players having more than one LS. I have am reading a negative image of players with more than 1 LS and I have had players personally harass me in game for something SE is allowing me to do. If anything, I would like to direct this feeling toward SE not the player.

I played FFXI for years and was offered a LS and accepted it. I never even once thought about leaving that LS. And since it had few members, I didn't meet very many ppl and only reached lvl 67. Entering FFXIV with that experience I was thrilled I had the potential to get to know many more players by holding more than 1 LS.
@ Number 1. i agree a simple /ls2 /l2 /l1 is too hard?

And for the rest yes more then one is great fills the chat window at times with active shells but filters and multi windows helps that the major issues our the ones the core big shell leaders are trying to battle with SE.

member cap increased, as well as, the ability for LS leaders to remove inactive players.
Which can be fix ^ by doing this ^

oh ya I forgot to add something. so basically I had a LS leader threaten to remove me because he got wind that I was in more than one LS. Which I'm only in 2! and both of them have about 10-15 ppl at peak online times. Why don't I see more LS leaders creating a Latin Name LS II and/or III ???

Some people take the game too seriously. The benefit of an MMO is to make gaming a social experience. It's unfortunate when people only dedicate themselves to certain players. It's like a clique in the virtual world.

It would be hard for that leader to make 1-3 LS's

With linkshells forming and reforming we need a boot button to kick inactive online and offline players globally at any time.
There is no reason a LS such as the one's in the Mysidia server should be reforming after hitting LS max 2-3 times like we are! And as a leader of a shell it's hard to please my loyal members with people who play for a day and leave and remaking a shell over and over. with so called " Active players " we need the room for people who are. And we need it now!
If you agree don't just press like or post i agree!
ADD TO IT AND POST IT over and over this is not a light subject this is a major issue for the populated servers.

If your not a LS leader and have not remade your shell more then once then don't bother with your two cents cuz you don't know the idea of issue at hand.

And with major patches and not even 1 word of a LS fix or even a simple button it's driving major shells to there destruction and leaders to wits end.

So i say YES to Adding a Global Linkshell Boot key! AND RE POST THIS

You really don't have to be an LS leader or Master to recognize that this is a serious design flaw that needed fixing prior even to the implementations of linkshells. I really like that people are talking about this in the appropriate section of the forums and used the OP as an example in my Day #6 post in the following thread in general discussion.

http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ognition/page6

It would be great if we could get people to post in this thread, the thread I linked, and [Dev1024] Linkshell Administration Options in General discussion as well. I'll be sure to stop by this area of the forums regularly to see if any more new threads or posts are made here.

Will do Rhomagus. Any attention we can bring to this could be useful. I am sure the devs are aaware of the flaws, but maybe if enough voices are heard they can reprioritize this.

I think what they were trying to get at in regards to belonging to multiple linkshells is a broader community, but they didn't quite do it right.

The simple solution: many mmos allow you to create a secure chat channel. Wether it's used for alliances, alts that belong to other guilds, or a guild so large it has to be divided into sects. That way you would only belong to one LS (your LS being a group of like minded people) but you can communicate within that LS or across other linkshells that belong to that channel (chat channel being a group of likeminded Linkshells).
