Self entitled players

Am I the only one seeing a very angry bunch of self entitled players trolling these forums?

I have been reading through threads and replies from the developers, which are very informative and constantly updated, and yet all I see is "WE WANT THIS NOW OR ELSE" and "THIS IS TOTAL JOKE" etc etc.

First off, the game is free, it costs less than the price of a bus ticket to pick up on Amazon, and has no monthly fee, so you really are not owed anything yet.

Second it is a BEAUTIFUL game that clearly has had years of work put into it's art and development, yes it has a tonne of issues, but as the dev's clearly explain, the fixes are coming, and content is rolling in.

Third, no one, at all, for any reason, no matter how much you pay, has any right to demand things from game developers. They are putting their vision down into action, not your visions. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's bad, but that doesn't mean a tonne of work was not done.

Would be great if people on these forums could get off their little self entitled clouds and suggest things in a civil manner, instead of being total jackasses about the whole thing.

Feedback is great, suggestions are fantastic, but as soon as you use the word demand in your threads, you lose any credibility, as you simply have no right to demand anything.

I think there is nothing better for developers than constructive feedback, as they are only human much like the rest of us, and really do believe people should post their experiences and thoughts about changes etc, and suggestions for additions to the game, but keeping it civil, and not being so self righteous about the whole thing.


Am I alone in thinking this?
