I know I'm probably quite late in bringing this up so I apologize in advance but I just need some clarification on crafted gear...
I was looking at DL armor today and opened up my crafting menu to compare the DL to the 2 Star Greens. I'm confused because, even at HQ, the 2 Stars don't seem to come even close and I'd kept hearing that they did or that 2 Star Greens were even better (depending on who I talked to or what I read). Even melded using both slots as well as forbidden melding the DL is still better, and don't even get me started on the cost prohibitive nature of materia or the fact that DL gloves are cheaper then crafting them due to potash cost.
I canceled my auto renewal today, the crafting system was the only reason I've played as much as I have. I'm sure I'll resub, probably sooner then later knowing me lol . I'm just kind of at a dead end with the crafting and was hoping maybe I'm overlooking something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
