    Teamworking: healers

    Hello everyone!
I know that this topic will get me lots of aggro from you XD
I'm a White Mage and as you can see I hit lv50. I already did primals HM and all the dungeons but BCoC, as a healer only.
What I'm trying to say is that every class has a hard role in difficult dungeons, so I'm posting here the ways people can make the work of healers easier and raise significantly the probabilities of succeeding in every quest.
Before your hate pervades this post, I know that all the other classes are in my same situation, I'm not saying "you are noobs and I do everything", but I see that there are lots of players that think other classes are easy, so I'd be really glad if someone did the same post I'm doing for their class, so that I can understand my party members and be a better healer.
    Here we go with advice:

    TANKS
    - Please avoid AoEs. This is the most recurring problem in every dungeon or trial, tanks and dds not avoiding AoEs. When you get hit, even if you may not realize it, the healer(s) have a really hard time healing you, because in lv50 quests an AoE is really powerful, and they eventually will even get more aggro than you or they won't heal you in time and you'll die. So please, avoid aoes. It's easy and doubles (at least) the probabilities of success.
    - Don't stay too far away from healers. I know, this is hard to do, you have to keep mobs away from healers, but the best way to survive is not to run away, because healers won't reach you. Just stay as far as you can by remaining in healers' range. But this is not so important, a good healer will get as far as he needs by himself.
    - Make sure you avoid any unnecessary damage, by increasing defence, avoiding aoes and such, because getting too much damage = being healed more than you should = less MP and more aggro on the healer(s).

    DAMAGE DEALERS
    - You too, avoid AoEs. It's easy, even on PS3 (I'm on PS3).
    - Try not to get hit. If you are DoM, just stay as far as you can from the boss/mobs, if you are DoW just stay behind the boss or simply avoid avoidable blows. If the healer(s) can focus only on one tank, everything will get unimaginably easier.
    - Don't pull. I know, this is REEEAALLY obvious, but I still see dds pulling in AK or Wanderer's Palace.
This is all for dds, I think.

    FOR EVERYONE
    - I repeat, avoid AoEs. This is the most important thing to do. Avoid them and you'll have like 80% of success.
    - Now I'm talking about Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium: wait for people on PS3 to skip cutscenes. I'm on PS3 and I do 20 minutes runs of both if people waits for me. You will lose no more than 30 seconds on the whole timer. And don't say "30sec is a lot in a speedrun", because it is not. Lose 30 seconds and get a 20 min run, or leave people behind, do on your own and lose several minutes because you are less one member during a fight.

Conclunsion: please don't hate me for this post, I'm not offending anyone, I just want a bit of empathy between players, and I'd really love if someone could explain me the work of a tank or a damage dealer, as I did here for healers.

This comes off as kind of a QQ thread not sure what the point is. But as far as AoE's go the DPS and Healers should be avoiding them and Tank's avoid the ones they can without putting the party in danger. For example Dragon Breath attacks where if they move the boss will spin and hit others. Or certain AoE's where the boss will follow them and do an attack that hits others. I'm quite prepared for the Tank to take some damage on some mechanics and prepare for it accordingly.

If you are ever too far away from your Tank to heal them you are doing it wrong. Position accordingly.

So since you demanded what others to do here is what the healer should do:

Avoid AoE's and don't stand close to the boss
Position yourself where you are in the best place to heal anyone in an emergency
Plan your heals out correctly so you don't overheal or heal before the Tank pulls aggro especially on adds
Mana is important don't neglect mana regeneration

    Yes, I know, thanks
I already avoid AoEs, I position myself in the better place for healing and I don't overheal, this is not the point. I see lots of people thinking that they do everything and the other classes are easy, so I wrote down this with my experience as a lv50 healer, nothing more. I'm not offending and I'm not expecting to be carried, but I do my job at the best I can and I'd like to improve myself and others' role. You are a healer lv50, so I think you have encoutered bad players too (unless you only play in overgeared parties).

I wrote this only because there are lots of players who don't seem to understand others. I'd like to understand others even better.
Don't underestimate the power of empathy, if everyone knows what to do and does his job well, you can easily win Titan Hard Mode in AK gear + lv60 weapon.

I applaud the time you spent to write this, and I agree. The problem that everyone faces is the folks that actually come to the forums and read the posts and discussions of the active community are not the ones your speaking about "usually". It's the folks that do not read the boards, are new , and probably don't know about things like this discussion board for games.

Your best bet is that if you see someone derping around , ask them "Hay man that attack that hit you almost killed you, if I heal you for that much there is a good chance I will pull agro, can you try and avoid that if you can and I will try to not let you die from it." This kind of politeness goes a long way, if the guy is a jerk about it, remind him about his 1hr queue time.

Well, I'm writing this because I'm on PS3 and I can't write in chat with the joypad while fighting.
I hope someone understands it, and I even hope that someone writes the same as I did but for his class.
And I really hope that jerks don't renew the subscription and go play GTA V XD

man i see tanks tring to pew pew, but thats a guess off the top of my head to rationale why tanks take aoe hits. its SE's fault for not having better guides about their game.
