gil sellers sending psn friend requests

This has got to stop SE your lack of doing anything about the Gil sellers is just emboldening them even more. I was running dungeons ran with some cool ppl later I get a pan request thinking it was one of them I accept but to my surprise I logg off then long in and have ten mail from them all trying to sell Gil. I hate to say but as much as I like this game this is getting sickening just watching SE let cheaters and RMT destroy their game and drive away the honest people.

I already disabled chat in game so what now never accept a pan invite without giving someone the third degree to make sure they are real people.

@sixmp how was I supposed to know that the request came from a RMT spammer yet thankfully psn does not put up with it I called PS customer service and they said they would take care of the person as it is harassment.

Square IS doing things about the gil sellers, it's just that gil sellers descended on this game with a passion. I've seen RMT sites being pushed in this game that I've never seen before in any other game, not even the free ones. And I have to say that every week it's a new set of names doing the pushing, /headdesk names and hacked names. The task force has it's hands full and then some, and there's no easy way to put and end to the torrent.

While i understand RMT are a problem, you accepted the request. You can't really blame SE for something you did. SE are working on the problem. They recently got rid of quite a few billion gil from the game + accounts of spammers etc.

As many feared during Beta Testing.
We raised the issue of having random PSN requests during testing but didnt seem to get a response on it :/
But now RMTs are doing it?! Thats bad! Hope Sony bans their PS3s MAC address

I'll suggest my Beta idea again, instead of IDing PS3 players through their PSN tag how bout a PS3 logo or Gamepad icon on our ingame profiles (when "examined").

It is a condition from Sony that the PSN-ID is showed ingame.
But only other PS3 players can see the PSN-ID.
