How many people are planning to do complete reworks on their character. My friend and I, like many others both went with Miqo'te. Because so many other people are the same class it really bothers me and I just want something different.

I am playing a Summoner, and I play to switch to Elezen, where as my friend is a warrior and planning to switch to Roegadyn.

Anyone in a similar boat?

There's really nothing visually I want to change about my character, I don't really care how many Miqos are running around, I made a character I liked.
But, I am going to change the voice. After a little over two weeks, I've come to realize how annoying the voice I chose is.

I like the character design too much to change it, though I am debating starting another character as a Lalafell.

I had the opposite. I made an Elezen because no one was playing it. Then I realized why no one was playing it. Their run is annoying, the attack stance is awkward, and I hate the way they ride mounts.

So I decided I was going to change to Highlander with my fantasia.

However, when I became unhappy with the server I was on and decided to try another, I made a Mi'qote. And it is awesome! I'd always planned to never ever play Mi'qote because so many others were already. Now I don't care. Can't imagine myself with any other appearance.

Before I was impatient to get my fantasia. Now I don't care if it ever comes.

All I did with my fantasia was change my hair highlight colors, I loved my look from FFXI and I was glad to see the same hairdo (of course it was the popular one in XI) now of course I'd like another vial to change again...I swear they should just make hair dye to go with armor dyes...but I digress. I don't think they would hand out fantasia fast enough to keep my hair happy :P

I believe they are adding a barbershop in 2.1 that will allow you to change you hair color and hairstyle along with a few other parts of your look.

Yeah I remember hearing the same, that would be awesome as long as it doesn't cost real cash, would be a nice gil sink though, although we need better ways to generate gil rather than distribute current wealth, but that a whole different story.

i was hyur midlander. everything was cool and i really liked my char, but some of the gear in-game just arn't male-friendly so i changed to miqote. i would switch to a highlander f or elezen f in future if i get the chance... but i have to say miqote generally look good in all gear sets.

I've got a Fantasia potion, but my character is almost perfect in the ways I like...cute female Lalafell tank.

If I were to change...it'd be either to a female Midlander or Seeker because Lalafells in swimsuits look awful...
