Sadly, you are so right. I would play this game more and like it if they added all those things.

Title 18; Part I; Chapter 71; Provision 1466; Of the United States Federal Statutes
(a) Whoever is engaged in the business of producing with intent to distribute or sell, or selling or transferring obscene matter, who knowingly receives or possesses with intent to distribute any obscene book, magazine, picture, paper, film, videotape, or phonograph or other audio recording, which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce, shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than 5 years or by a fine under this title, or both.
I'm thinking SE dose not want to piss off the US government or ESRB for that matter; seeing as they follow under ESRB's rating system and ESRB is held liable for anything obscene or outside their rating criteria.
SCOPE OF THE PRINCIPLES AND GUIDELINES
"In fulfilling a key aspect of the self-regulatory mission of the ESRB, the Advertising Review Council (“ARC”) is responsible for the implementation, administration, and enforcement of advertising guidelines adopted by the interactive entertainment software industry. The following ARC Principles and Guidelines for Responsible Advertising Practices (the “Principles and Guidelines”) apply to all “qualifying advertising” for games rated by the ESRB, and all publishers utilizing ESRB ratings are legally bound to comply with the guidelines and to ensure compliance by their co-publishers, licensee, agents and/or other third parties authorized in connection with the development, creation, distribution or placement of qualifying advertising. Failure to comply with ARC requirements can result in points, corrective actions, and monetary fines." (ESRB; http://www.esrb.org/ratings/principles_guidelines.jsp).
All gaming companies need to keep some sort of degree of "class".

The cake is a lie.Cake
It's a piece of cake to bake a pretty cake. If the way is hazy,
You gotta do the cooking by the book. You know you cant be lazy.
Never use a messy recipe, the cake will end up crazy.
If you do the cooking by the book...
Then you'll have a cake.
We gotta have it made.
You know that i love cake.
Finally, it's time to make a cake.
How about implementing a strip club as well that would bring in the older male gamer, who wouldnt want to see a lallafell shaking its tush. On top of that make a mall/shopping centre full of high street brand names so we attract the female shoppers too, make epic storyline quests where the player has to find the right shoes to go with the dress they just bought.
Implement salon's, coffee shops, internet cafe's and arcade's to make sure everyone is catered for.
I think you might have something here!
If they want to make this game incredibly successful, they just need to hire some Koreans to do all the network and programming code for them.
Afterward, SE can do what they do best.... nothing.
And once theyve finished doing that, it's just a simple matter of pasting a Final Fantasy skin over everything.
And viola!
Instant success.
I don't know... the grind in FFXIV feels much like a Korean game all ready. If they want to make this game incredibly successful, they just need to hire some Koreans to do all the network and programming code for them.
Afterward, they can do what they do best.... nothing. All they have to do is paste over the korean anime crap with Final Fantasy stuff.
And viola!
Instant success.
