2 Person Party - Both Get Gold - 2 Different XP Amounts

Ok, this was my working assumption, if its incorrect then that will answer some things:

I assumed that everyone in the party got credit for everyone's contribution.

However, my wife and I are in a 2 person party. I'm a 34 Paladin. She's a 34 Scholar.

We do a Fate. We both get gold I get 12,000+ xp, she gets 8,000ish XP.

Ok, we both got Gold, how is that possible (is my first question).

Then, we go to a fate and she and I are the only 2 players in it. Takes 15 minutes, but we clear it.

I get 12,000 xp she gets 8,000 XP.

She changes classes, changes back. We go to a 3rd FATE.

Again, I get 12,000 xp she gets 8,000.

Anyone have any insight as to why we are both getting gold but getting 2 different xp amounts at the same level?

Could it be the 50% bonus XP you get for levelling an alt class?

I thought it was only for Kill XP, but it might be for Fate reward XP too. Basically if you're playing Disciple of War or Magic class and it ISNT the highest level class you have, you get 50% extra XP to it. If your wife's character is her "main" class, and you're playing with her on a secondary, this would likely explain the difference.

That would be it, hadn't thought about that.

Her WHM is only 34, my WHM is 35, which would why when she hit 34 she started getting 50% less xp than me on the reward.

Yeah it's the "Armoury Bonus" and it is does include FATE exp. Leveling my healer alongside my tank and it helps to keep them closely matched. Most people think you have to have a job at 50 before it kicks in, but as long as you have one job higher than the others, they all will get it. It is "profession" specific, however. DoM/DoW, DoL, and DoH are all in their own catagories.
