Where Can We purchase new Dye?

I havent found where to get new dye yet. Can anyone tell me what merchants or where they can be found? thanks. I have some nice new armour but it is rather dark and gloomy and I hope to brighten it up. thanks. I am esp looking for White dye thansk

There is a NPC in each of the 3 cities' market areas that sells dyes. I believe the Gridania one was called a Tinkerer or something like that, not sure about the other two, Ul'dah's might be called Dyemonger. Just check each npc in each market area and you will surely find it.

Some colors can't be bought from a vendor; they have to be crafted. Pure white dye ("Snow White" is what the game calls it) is one of them. "Bone White", which will have a beige tint, has to be bought from a vendor, for 40 gil. Snow White on the Market Boards on Hyperion is selling for about 400-500 gil.

What class do you have to be to be able to make the dyes ??

I'm pretty sure all crafting classes can make Dyes (hell, my cook can do it so I'm sure everyone can). I think they are around level 30 recipes, and have their own separate section in the crafting window all the way at the bottom of the level range list.

That is correct. Any crafter at least level 30 can make all the craftable dyes. Any gatherer at least level 30 can get the pigments required to make dyes (and also the crystals needed; dyes need crystals to synth, not shards).

ah i saw the Tinker in Gridania but was not sure that who might have them. I havent started a craft class yet, work has been too busy but thanks i will do my best appreciate all the help.
