I have WAR and PLD both at 50, played both quite a bit, HM Titan and beyond. WAR is quite a lot of fun but ultimately not very rewarding, it became too much when it really felt like I was just holding back the ground wasting more GCD's on the healers and in coil they just take too much more damage. Yes you can do up to Turn 5 with a WAR, but honestly that's up to your healers more than your actual ability and says more about the healers in your group. For a while I thought it was just people whining but then switching to PLD and watching another WAR tank with even better gear than me just get butchered in Turn 1/2 really solidified my decision to stick with PLD till WAR gets some improvements.

The reason WAR doesn't do well in end game is their scaling is based off THEIR damage, not the mobs damage. When bosses are auto-attacking you for 1.5-2.4k that Inner Beast crit ain't gonna do crap. WAR needs self-healing based off max HP and scale with that, as well as some other changes.
