Tanking tips fro warrior on titan HM

I have full DL, Garduda's scream and AF+1 chest, and Titan does the mountain buster about every 45 - 60 seconds on phase 5, while my main mitigation sill, Foresight works only every 90 sec, I'm alternating it with thrill of battle + featherfoot, still if I'm not fully healed by that point I usually die.

Any tips to counter this or do it better?

No, I won't play as a PLD as I want my relic on WAR.

I had to form my own party and go as dps to get mine done.. was next to impossible to get people to even try with a warrior tank. I ended up getting all str accessories and doing it... Was able to avg 146 dps for the fight with Ifrits axe!

You know something is not balanced when the best way to do titan is have a pld tank and warrior dps to complete it.. really hope some things get changed. I made a warrior to tank. I was never even given the chance to TRY to tank it - No one would even let me try - and i was well geared too.

Yeah, same here, I had to go as a DPS or the off tank spot, The healers just weren't able to keep themselves alive focus on me as a main tank. I made it down to 10% but then the healers began wiping. Same healers did just fine on Paladin fight and one shot titan. Really shows you how gimped we are.

People are over dramatic when it comes to the WAR on titan. My group stated that healing me was very easy. These are my tips:
-Mountain Buster comes after two punches, the jab and the hook. I hit my IB right after the hook, and then instantly get my stack back up with infuriate if possible, or I use Conv. Mix this with the following:
-determ
-Featherfoot and ToB.

IMO (and i know the forum warriors are gonna grill me that I use IB during a big hit and not leave my healing %'s up) is that you need HP RIGHT NOW, for MB. Heals will have time to top off before stomp and definitely time before plumes.

Also I have learned to use unchained + zerk for heart phase... makes a big difference and he wont jump away and waist your cd's. Most of the time you will help save the LB as long as you don't get unlucky with with rocks.

What will help is if you have some sort of communication as when the Mt buster will come. Mt buster is usually proceeded by Rockbuster a 2k hit. So when you see that attack, pop a inner beast if you aren't topped off already, hopefully that will be enough. Mt buster also follows the bombs. There's a vid of the rotation, so copy that vid down and have somebody else in the party create the macro and use it, and especially use the macro when a upcoming MT buster is coming.

Mt buster is usually proceeded by Rockbuster a 2k hit. So when you see that attack, pop a inner beast if you aren't topped off already, hopefully that will be enough.

Basically this; it will *always* hit after a Rockbuster. Time IB to hit either before or after Mountain Buster (MB). MB hits for 4-4.5k, so if you don't have at least 5K HP within 1-2 seconds after his Rockbuster, you need to IB to live. After that pop Infuriate if it's up, IB again if necessary, but hopefully healers can top you off at that point.

If you don't need to use IB pre-MB, then hit it immediately afterwards.

Circle pattern bombs are the only ones you should ever get hit by. If you are going to get hit, just pop your cooldowns and get hit. Berserk and Infuriate are defensive cooldowns.
When titan does the square pattern bombs, dont worry about moving to dodge the explosions until he starts his line attack. Having him farther from the "safe side" makes it easier to everyone else to dodge.
Other than that, it is on your healers to play well. A damage shield does wonders. Asking people nicely to virus, and rain of death could help.

I've 4 manned the fight post heart. Working on 3 manning it. Warrior is a perfectly viable tank for titan and the preferred tank for selling titan runs due to its potential to 3 man the fight while a PLD cannot.

Why do you say a pld cannot? I thought warriors only did about 10% more damage in tank stance... How could that make up the difference? where as if a pld is doing it the healer could toss in a bit more dps?
