Does any one use teleport all the time?

I use teleport all the time costing up to 550gil a pop, I must of wasted 30k on it, but it's to temping not to use it, even if am only 1 or 2 maps away from my destination it's only 150g so am like, oh well it's only 150 but it all adds up

An lvl 28 and iv still got 20k and all the best gear

Should I be saving all my gill for later on in the game?

Am guessing 30k isn't much anyway at lvl 50 and I may aswel saves hours just teleporting

What do you lot think/do??

don't end up like my friend lvl 33 with 1000gil... I've been saving as much as i can because as much as i've been running higher dungeons for gear... the repair costs can be brutal...

I almost never use it. Even to get to and from Limsa I'll often use the Airship or Ferry. I mainly only use it if I'm trying to get to a sanctuary to log off because I'm running late getting somewhere. Like work. Mostly I use a mount to get from A to B. And I'll jump off and do any FATE I come across. I also try to get all my gear from quests, dungeons and GC. I farm all my own materials for crafting. I'm basically stockpiling gil.

I'd love to use it always, but it looks too much like a gil drainer. I am lvl 26 with 21K in my account, I don't believe I would have a gil left if I used it all the times I wanted going straight to the closest place. What I did has been to register a favourite location in all continents and when I need to travel I go for the cheapest option. I can't believe the ferry can cost more than the teleport in some cases, though.

I really wish they'd implement overland transport from Limsa to the main continent - e.g. a bridge - just so you could walk/run everywhere.

There's too much incentive to teleport all over the place when Limsa is the only departure point.

Repairs seem cheap at lvl28 do they sky rocket later on.

Also iv just got a chocobo but it's not fast at all, do they get faster? Or can I get a faster mount later on?

Wat does dol/doh mean?

Disciple of the Land and Disciple of the Hand. It means crafting and gathering jobs (non-combat) like Goldsmith, Alchemist, Miner, Botanist, etc.
