EFF YES. EFFIN' SIGNED. A MILLION-TRAJILLION-TIMES-YES.
I want this to be implemented, because for god's sake, being able to only see the cutscenes in the main storyline quest ONLY ONCE...kinda sucks.

Like say, a quest where you help the archivist of a Grand Library at Ishgard in collecting tomes and records from all City-States and Small Towns, and upon completion you get access to the Library's "Historical Archives" where you can view any and all cutscenes that you have completed.
EFFIN' YES.

Whatever way it ends up working I just want it to be easy to acess once I unlock it. The downside to goblin footprints was you had to hoof it to that zone just to watch the scene. Not a bad trade-off in the long run but with XIV's hardon for ease of use adding it as a feature to player housing would be the best solution I would think.
Shameless bump, needs some more exposure. Somebody get in here and start fighting that always helps.
I really wish the devs and their representatives would take note of the really noteworthy threads - especially the ones with minimal exposure due to the lack of "trololol" value.
There is no real argument against the inclusion of Goblin Footprints, so that's why this thread is getting so few replies. That's one reason why I find it irksome that the community reps only take note of the larger threads when there are so many good threads with good suggestions that have gone by the wayside.
I'm sure they read them and get feedback from the dev team. But I'm sure they generally reply to larger threads due to wanting to calm the people from spaming the threads.
A good forum feature is something I take from Ultima Online's "Official forums at stratics" When ideas were proposed they could be voted Yay or nay, but people could also "Search" for ideas to help them get to the voting process. I really do think we need an option for community suggestions to have a Yes or No option in a poll form. unlike Like/dislike that would be abused to troll value, I think just a simple yes/no would suffice.
It's funny I often check my thread in my signature once in a blue moon and I have people pushing it back to the front page so it gets attention as well.
I need more troll bait in my suggestions...

hmm uyea... been waiting for this, hope a Rep can come and lighten us this news.. <3
Maybe they could implement something like the sphere theatre in FFX, where you could pay x (20,000?) amount of gil to unlock the various movies and songs in the game. This could provide a much needed gil sink as well as the requested functionality.

could have sworn this was brought up before here. But any who i really support being able to re-watch cs's and events. Though i would like to be able to see any thing from one convenient location. Having to head out to the middle of nowhere to re watch something got to be a pain.

epic. x20000Heya!
I like this! It could be awesome if the system would save every cutscene that we have done in a menu in the Main Menu called "Echo" like you said.
Would work like this:
For every character you have a menu of the cutscenes you've unlocked. Doing this will solve the problem of which of your character show in the cutscene.
Every cutscene has a city-state to indicate it. As for now, it could be required to show only one of the main city-states where you create your character, but maybe in the future will be implemented cutscenes for quests in other city-states, so I thought to leave it there.
Locked cutscenes will be displayed as -----------.
You have first to select one of the lists (LiLo, Ul'dah, Gridania,...) before selecting a video.
How you find this? Could be a good implementation, a scrap or can be bettered?
Here's the screenshot of the idea: Clicky!
See ya!
