God, I really do wish they'd just sub out the music in-game for these versions... They just sound terrific.

EDIT: Having thought about it and not being SWEPT UP IN THE MUSIC, as background music it's probably less of a good idea to have these. That said, it would be awesome to see them subbed in for some cutscenes and such. It sounds like true FF-style music.

I too really like the music in XIV, and believe the many people saying certain XI music pieces means so much more to them, is because of the experiences they have had with that piece playing in the background.

Given time, I hope that some XIV pieces will come to bear as much of an emotional impact as cetain XI pieces do, to me.

Also, Twilight over Thanalan is given a lot of grief, but personally I love it, I am not sure how to explain it.. hmm, it reminds me of pieceful moments in a Miyazaki movie.

If I remember correctly, and you are talking of the same thing, the part about changes had he seen the final product, was in relation to the trailer, where he would have subdued some parts and such, not changes to the score we have in game.
