Recently, a friend of mine went to go see the live Distant Worlds concert in his area. He told me that the best section of music, for him, was surprisingly the FFXIV portion. Which is strange since a lot of people complain about the music in this game being monotonous to the point they just turn off the music in most cases.
SO, I decided to do some research and listen in on some of these Distant Worlds tracks. I was pretty surprised! These live performances sound comparatively better than those that are in the game. They seem like they've been rearranged more properly as well. Did Nobou work on them more after the games' release? I remember in the 'Making of Eorzea' that he did mention something about wishing he could change a few things after seeing the finished product. Is it true that he was only given a picture of the areas before having to write the music? Did he really never get to experience the in game environments?
I'll post links here for people that would want to listen to some of Distant Worlds tracks as well.

I kind of wish that SE would decide to replace some of the current tracks with these Distant Worlds ones, then release a new FFXIV Soundtrack CD to make some money to support the game. =p
