Storyline would be recognized much more and people will have better reviews of the game. SE's story-telling is just beautiful and amazing, something any other MMORPG will never compete with, because all they focus on is the grind.

I haven't read through the entire thread, about to leave, but if they could tie it into the classes and their storylines that'd be even better.
Don't they all right now end at 36? Sure they're quite short, and a bit empty, but if each class had a cap to it that you raised by doing quests that'd be great.

To quote Naru, this game is a bit of a grind-fest and really competitive who can get to 50 first. A cap quest tied to the class storylines would open up the world a bit more and make things interesting.

It was more about the generalization of "All they focus on is the grind" and that FFXIV's story is really nothing special from what we have so far. Nice try though, your use of smilies really makes your response stick. You really showed me.

Anyways, What MMORPG does have as good of a story, same or better than FFXIV's? What MMORPG isn't only about the grind.

I think FFXIV should reverse how you need to grind in order to progress through the story. Instead, they should give you enough content to go through the story without having to grind.

I recall people wanting more challenging content. Well, imagine being capped at 20 until you do the Rank 20 Storyline Mission?
