THIS IS RIDICULOUS (LAG CONTENT)

So, I get an email from SE this morning that my sub runs out in 5 days. The game is entirely unplayable due to the extreme lag that I, and many, are facing. So now I am faced w/ one of two options:

1.) Pay them for another month to be able to keep logging on occasionally and see if the problem has been fixed.

2.) Quit completely, and have to leave this game that I truly enjoy(outside of recent lag issue).

I played this game for almost an entire month w/ 0 drops and minimal/no lag. What happened SE, are you giving up on this game too?

Should I be waiting around for FFXIV A Realm Reborn....Reborn Again?? (2015)

Yes, this will have to be fixed sooner rather than later.. or at least they need to acknowledge the issue. Am a paying subscriber but currently I can't play at all.

I'm not subscribing, I can't play the endgame at all.

I'll check the forums every now and then to see it they maybe solved it somehow in time. I may be back if the do (if I'm not playing another game, that is).

This makes me sad. I had such high hopes. I got my friends to get the game, and also convinced them SE was gonna get it right. Its not even a month after launch and all of my friends have quit, and I am not going to be subbing so I guess I quit too.

I also know that websites like xfire are not 100% proof of game decline, but they do kind of show the current trend. Watch FF14 on xfire over the next few days as the free time for almost everyone runes out. See if you see a massive plummet in game time.
